Default Pure green coffee beans..

Has anyone tried them..pill or extract? Does it work? Is it just a diuretic and the loss is all water, or does it actually do more as they said on Dr. Oz?..restricting sugar conversion into fat.
tks

I'm not a fan of Dr. Oz. He says that low carbing is dangerous. Um, no it's not. And I quote, "Any time you cut out an entire food group (Atkins), that's dangerous". He's willfully ignorant. Atkins includes every food group, in maintenance - if starches are what he is referring to. There is no evidence that this WOE is dangerous...or it'd be all over CNN y'know? Anyway he lost me when he came out with that. (published in Time mag last year)

Ok I guess I'm on a Dr. Oz rant now. I just went to my iCloud inbox And I have an email from Dr. Oz about green coffee! I've never had a marketing email there before. He must have a contract with her for a % of sales. He's not sending out marketing emails out of the goodness of his heart.

I gained weight (10 pounds) during the month I took green coffee and raspberry extracts. Granted, I was stressed out and not actively dieting, but the hype states I should have lost anyway. Save your money!

I tried raspberry ketones first and my husband said my body stank. I noticed no improvement in memory or loss of weight. I was on for 4 months. As for the green coffee bean, same thing was on for 3 months and I gained 6 lbs in a month. I agree save your money. I want to like Dr Oz, but I wish he would stop promoting all these neat weight loss products, that just don't work. I am over the pills. Atkins is my drug.

Haha.. thanks for the heads-up! Dr Oz definitely promotes too many things.. but strangely, he is the one that got me on Atkins a year ago.
His advice on weight loss is not consistent, and a person could go bonkers if they watch that show too often, but I lucked out one day because I happened to turn on the TV when he was discussing the different kinds of fat.
He said that people with excess around their bellies should go on low carb, and people who are overweight in other places (legs, bum, arms, etc) should focus more on caloric intake and exercise.
It was the first time I ever heard someone make the distinction, and I went on low carb. It totally agreed with me (even though I still have the belly, I'm down 25 pounds).
Thanks for the tested info on the green coffee!
Oh. and HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

Gave me chest pain. But I lost a little , till I stopped taking them.. There is no magic pill, unfortunately. However, cutting carbs and sugars seems to be working..
