Today's menu was similar to yesterdays. I trying to eat the rest of the meat that needs to go first.

Breakfast: big bowl of tripe, 3 breakfast sausages (no preservatives, sugar ect)

Lunch:
Jonagold apple, small handful of raw almonds.

Dinner:
(smaller than breakfast)
Pork shoulder (cooked previously in crock pot) fried in refined coconut oil in a cast iron skillet with chopped kale, broccoli, few carrots and mushrooms. topped with pine nuts and seasonings.

I've been pondering doing a really, really squeaky clean week... but not a whole month.

Wow, I go away for two days and look at all the folks who have joined! Yippee! Nancy, I see absolutely no reason why you can't do a "Whole 7" for your squeaky clean week!

Will post all my stats tomorrow...I will try to format it so others can just put theirs in too. If you don't track your stats then don't worry about it!

Nancy, I'm thinking I might start with a squeaky clean week too. I'm still struggling with the idea of totally giving up dairy, and it was bringing my 'I want to binge' voice back last night. A week seems a less scary start.

OK, here we go! It's February 1!

Someone clever out there at formating might be able to put this all into a table...I just can't figure it out here!

Name: Sue
Current Weight: 181.5
Chest (right underneath the breasts): 36"
Waist: 33"
Hips: 44"
Upper Thigh: 25.5"
Upper Arm: 13"

Sigh...I remember a time when my waist was the size my thighs are now. How depressing.

Default I'm in for a week

Hi, I'm totally new to this forum. I'll play for a whole 7 week, but I'm not eating tripe.

Start: 147.9
Waist 26
Hips 36.5
Thigh 21
Height 5'5"

I've been doing Jack Kruse's leptin reset for a little more than 2 weeks. I'm going to really miss cheese and cream... and splenda.

Unsweetened green tea, here I come.

My one stat : 163lbs (up one today (164) due to hormones I'm sure)

I am not big on measurements. I can tell by how my clothes fit.

Food for yesterday:

Breakfast: 8am
4 eggs, 5 sausage, 3tbsp coconut oil, 1/2 avocado...stuffed.

Lunch/dinner: 3pm
Fist full raw almonds, 2 HB eggs, Pinata apple YUM!

3 pots green tea throughout the day.

Breakfast: 9am
7 breakfast sausage (no additives)
2 HB eggs
Handful of nuts
2 tbsp coconut oil off the spoon

Dinner:5:30pm
Large bowl of veggie pork soup.
(fresh pork stock with all the fat, fresh diced pork, kale, broccoli, carrot, garlic, fresh cracked pepper)

Now the next 6 days will be a little more sketchy. I am now going into my 6 nights in a row 12.5 hour shifts. (My usual schedule, 6 on 8 off) Sometimes I feel like I work in a warzone, and often times I do not have time to eat very much. Add to that I cannot eat before bed (Leptin reset) and I need to sleep within 1.5 hours of getting home. It seems that I need to fast 24 hours every 7 days so my day life and night life can synchronize. I know I will always be fighting circadian rhythm biology but I am doing the best that I can.

Well it is kinda awkward being the only one to post menus so I will stop doing that. I looked at a couple of old threads and it seems most don't anyways. I think most people get the gist about how I am going to go about this anyways. Good luck everyone!

No worries, WebfootPDX. I like seeing your menus, I never heard of a Pinata apple before. I'd have been posting each day as well, except that I went out of town on the first and have been sick since that night with another cold, this time the glands in my neck are swollen and painful.

I did do awesome on the first. Went to a chinese buffet with my parents and I hit up the mongolian grill and ate sashimi. I haven't been able to cut back on the coffee though. While it's permitted on the Whole30 I just want to give up my vice with it. Maybe later this month I'll try, for now it helps my head congestion way too much.

Apart from the broth the last couple of days I've eaten a ton of ground beef, my body is really craving it for some reason. As much as I want to like the taste of tripe I just can't eat it, my hubby loves it though . I'm trying to round out my diet with as many different organ parts as possible. I'm hoping to get a roaster oven in the coming week, got some big stuff I really want to eat!

Well here's something positive! This morning I was thinking "Gee, I really wish I could weigh myself, because this is the first day of my TOM, and I normally gain, but I'm doing this Whole29 thing and I'm not supposed to weigh..." blah blah blah. I did not weigh myself, but when I pulled on my jeans they buttoned up EFFORTLESSLY. That's a pretty nice feeling!

I hope everyone else is doing well.
