It's been a puzzling week. My weights aren't what I expected, and I expect now a small gain when I average next Monday.

Today's weight is the lowest since Monday - 195.7. I'm glad to see a 195 again!

It might be partially attributable to stress - had an apt. this week with my cardiologist, and ended up wearing a Holter Monitor for 24 hours. Worst case scenario is that I will need a pacemaker. At 58 this feels annoying to say the least. I hope it's not necessary at this point, though I recognize it probably will be eventually.

I've SO many things I want to do in the upcoming years, including, I hope, lots of travel. I need/want no more cardiac nonsense!

Started my day today with 2 Applegate Uncured beef hot dogs with 1/2 cup riced cauliflower and a mini brie bite. Felt decadent

Greatly enjoying my spiralizer that I just got about a week ago, and do recommend the one I bought a Spiralizer Tri-Blade Vegetable Slicer (by Bitoni) - which is still on sale on Amazon.com for 45% off the usual price.

It's a device to turn veggies into straight spaghetti type noodles or curly like curly fries - you can use carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes, potatoes, (we've tried chayote with good results). Mine is for sale on amazon.com - just put in the name I listed or the company, and it should come up if you do a search.
Have a WONDERFUL time. Enjoy those grandbabies

I gained under .6 of a pound this past week, but at least can happily say that my weight has been going down for the past 3 days so I'm headed back in the right direction.

I need to go review my food logs for 2 days before my upswing began last week, just not sure why it went up!

I mean honestly, I just ate out Sat and Sun for rm and my weight is diving...go figure.

I'm trying hard to eat for my health.
This thread certainly helps me and probably other lurkers as well.

I'm a lurker on this board too, but now that I'm closer to goal weight I may try this way of eating again... It's inspiring to see your progress, Patricia!

Default Better!

Today was my lowest weight early June - 194.3. I lost the weight I gained last week plus an extra 100th, so I have a new low of 195.46 (down from 195.47 )

It's progress, I'll take it. I hope to see a 193 again this week and maybe a 192??

I now have 2 of the books to read on CAD one is quick start CAD.
Notice a warning that this plan was not for diabetics, but will read the books anyway since I'm eating LC anyway, there may be some helpful information for me.
I'll continue to follow this thread as it is encouraging to see those who stick with the diet and lose slowly.
I want to lose slowly so my skin can shrink some along the way.
So far I'm doing well with the skin shrinking, except for the belly apron I'm getting.
