Default "Allergy" cause a stall?

Anybody out there have any success/experience with omitting a food that is on the acceptable foods list for induction and thereby breaking through a stall? I have read and heard that some omit cheese with great success.

I am going to start experimenting with this... starting with cheese...

but it would certainly help me to prioritize my list of possible omits if people can share what has worked for them.

My question is...

what otherwise allowable food did you omit from your diet?

and

How long did it take you to see a result?

I have to avoid gluten, soy, sugar, citrus & casein. Most of these aren't induction foods, but casein is found in cheese. I can eat 3-4oz/day of low casein cheeses like Swiss (no "American" or cream cheese or "light" cheeses with added milk solids/higher casein). Not only have I managed to not stall, I've gotten below my 150 lb "set point" and been able to maintain for 7 mos & even lose more for the first time ever in 35 years of dieting.

Even if you are not intolerant of cheese, the salt in it and the fact that it can contribute to constipation may cause stalls.

Make sure you are getting enough calcium or take supplements. Swiss cheese is the lowest in sodium, I eat too much of it though

I haven't omitted anything I like, but I've made some surprising discoveries in climbing the OWL ladder. I'm able to eat all kinds of fruit without a problem, but scallops stop me in my tracks. Both are legal, scallops are allowed during Induction and much lower in carbs, but I know I won't lose anything on days I make a meal of them. I discovered that early and now try not to eat them past lunchtime.

Outside of known stallers, you may also discover little stumbling blocks in the Acceptable Foods list that are peculiar to you. Extended Induction periods also cause some to stall, so consider that if you've been doing it awhile. If something is slowing you down (maybe your bod is just taking a break) I hope it's easy to fix.

I know of several Atkineers who have found this.
One cannot eat aubergines (eggplants) at the same time as tomatoes although individually they cause her no problems!
This is one of the great things about OWL phase that it gives you the chance to experiment with how different foods affect you.
