Default Hi

I'm new to this decided I must do something and heard the fantastic results of low-carb dies as I need a quick fix or I'll get fed up with it. Wondered if there's anyone who's expreienced in the diet who'd like to meet up for a coffee sometime to pass on advice. I'm in SW London work in the Strand.

Good luck

Adele

Hi Adele,

With less than 20 pounds to lose, I'm afraid you won't find low carb a "quick fix" But it has loads of other positive health effects too, so don't get discouraged

Are you free tomorrow? If so why not join us in St James' Park for our low carb picnic? There's a separate thread giving details.

Hi Adele

I wish you all the best with low carbing. As Sylvia has said it is a great way to live your life as it has other benefits other than weight loss. Whilst you may lose 3 or 4 pounds quite quickly it is likely to take a lot longer to lose the rest as you body is always resistant to lose those last pounds, unless you are very lucky.

I'm off to the picnic today, so if you fancy meeting up and talking low carb look out for us in St James Park. Its going to be a scorcher. Keep an eye out for my black umbrella! I know, does not make sense in the sun, but need to be able to identify where we are.

All the best.
