Wednesday
45mins on the elliptical (2 miles)
27mins of interval training the treadmill (2 miles)

I really pushed myself on the treadmill today. I planned on doing some spinning tomorrow morning but I'm way to tired to get up at 6am. I'll set my alarm anyway.

Cool

I went to the farmers market yesterday. The only parking I found was six blocks away---on some darn hill. I walked around the market and shopped for about an hour. Boy, what a workout. After I was done I had to walk up the hill to my car with 20 pounds of groceries. Suprisingly, I wasn't out of breathe or really tired for that matter.

Later that day I went to the gym and did...
20 minutes of swimming
20 minutes (walk/jog) on the treadmill (1.5 miles)
30 minutes of weight training (Abs and back)

I had a good day yesterday. I want to go to the gym but it's so nice out so I think I'll go for a walk instead.

Latas.

Pookie, that class was pretty tough but I know I'll be grateful later. Last night I went back to the gym. I have really been pushing myself. I'll probably do another boot camp class tonight and a 30min swim. Be back later.

Tuesday PM
33mins of interval training the treadmill (2 miles)
1hr 30mins of total body weight training (Body for Life)

I am so tired from all the working out. I feel like a contestant on Biggest Loser. Last night I went to the gym and did...

Wednesday
Boot camp class (1hr)
75mins of interval training the treadmill (4.5 miles)
18mins on the stairclimber (1 mile)
15mins of water stretching/aerobics

This morning I did...

Thursday
Boot camp class (1hr)
62mins of interval training the treadmill (4miles)

Wow that looks good on the screen. I really feel accomplished because I didn't quit this week...even when I REALLY wanted to.

omg, an entire mile w/o stopping?
I don't know if i can ever make it there
when I was working out 4-5 days a week when DH and I had a company gym membership, I think the most I could run in one stretch back there was only half a mile...
DH can run so much more than me tho... he cranks it up to 5.2 to run and then after half a mile or so, he slows it down to 4mph or something and jogs for the rest of the mile...
not me... I get to running, there's no way I can keep going unless I actually slow down to a walk... i can't just slow down and keep going..
Anyways, I can only do the half mile on SOME days anyways

Friday AM
1hr 15mins of total body weight training (Body for Life)
45mins on the stairclimber (2.5 miles)
15mins of interval training the treadmill (1 mile)

Pookie, I can only run on SOME days, too. I started out jogging at 5.2 for 2 minutes then 3 and so forth. I increased my time every week and voila! Now I'm running intervals...so I'll start out at 5.2 then increase until I'm at 6.5 then work my way back down the ladder. I can do this for about 10-11 mins.

I did my first 5k run/walk with some friends last month. The race was noncompetitive so it wasn't timed. I'm not sure how long it took me but I know that I wasn't last. The run/walk really built my confidence so since then I have really pushed myself to give 100%. But SOME days I just walk because my body needs a break.

I'm proud of myself this week because so far I've completed all but one goal. I've also completed a total of 21 miles on cardio machines this week. I still have to do one more "recreational session." More than likely that will be a brisk walk through the neighborhood sometime tomorrow.
