Default March 2021 Daily Weigh-In - Everyone Welcome!

This is a friendly and supportive group. We celebrate victories, both scale and non-scale. We cheer for you for keeping on going in the wake of adversity. We wait patiently every day with you who have slow losses. Everyone is welcome to join right in at any time.

Start by putting the date and then your weight. Each day, copy and paste your entry from the day before and add that day's weight. (Hint: an easy way to do this is to hit "quote" in your previous post, then delete the 2 quote tags at the beginning and end of your new post. This will preserve any formatting and smilies you had.) It's a good way to keep a record of your progress.

Take a breath. Now you know how those foods affect you. And when they will affect you. Move forward on plan and those water-weight pounds will drop off by the end of the week. Maybe sooner because you are a guy.

Oh, I'm not stressing at all. It's water. It may even be a good sign because my biggest whooshes have usually been preceded by several pounds of gain over the span of a couple days (sometimes six or seven pounds). Also, I may have gotten a bit dehydrated over the last few days and my body is reclaiming water. Plus, I've significantly increased my fiber intake and that may be playing a roll.

Whatever it is will work itself out (literally). That's one advantage of doing strict portion control -- I absolutely know that I have been towing the line right down the middle, so these bumps in the road are not hurdles or obstacles, they are just bumps.

My "5" key sure gets a heck of a workout.

WB, I'm like that with fiber, too. My intake is usually really low, but then I'll decide I want flax/coconut flour crackers, buns, or pizza crust. They're nice, but they're a bowel bomb... and when I make something like that, I'll tend to have it several days in a row. Weight temporarily goes up because I'll be thirsty as heck and drink a ton more.
