HAHA! That would be quite a shock if you weren't expecting it. I've been on Avandia for some time (only when trying to get pregnant) and not had these symptoms with it, so that's why I didn't think about the medication as a possible reason for the issue. I've upped my fat intake and found a better multivitamin. The energy during the day is much better, but still having problems at night. Of course, I haven't stopped the Avandia because I want to talk with my doctor first to see whether I should just go off, reduce dosage, etc.
Thanks everyone, for your support. This is an amazing group! So glad I've found it!

Just an update: I've stopped taking the Avandia and feel so much better. Still lacking in energy a bit, but sleeping better.

Great News! Thanks for the update.
I mentioned this briefly before, but suggest you also check out some Paleo/primal writers about infertility. Know I have seen articles from Chris Kresser, Robb Wolf, etc. They might help you craft a more nutrient dense low carb diet which is free and can't hurt like some of the drugs. (I was on them for years...one of those wish I had known what I now now situations)

Chris has a whole ebook about it, has has covered it in podcasts, etc on his website. http://chriskresser.com/the-healthy...dcast-episode-7

Try saving a lot of your carbs for dinner time. That is what Dr. Eades recommends. He has a 2-part posting about how to deal with induction symptoms. I don't have a link handy, but if you google for "Protein power blog" you'll probably find it.

Jollybean,

Yeah I was going to guess the Avandina too, because what you were describing sounded a lot like the side effects I get from Metformin.
Congratulations on deciding on a low carb diet. I have PCOS too, and I'm not TTC so I haven't been doing any kind of ovulation testing, but I can tell you that my cycles became as regular as a normal woman's after 1 month back on the LC bandwagon...so that's a good sign.
Hopefully you'll eventually have a LC baby!
