Smile Hello from a Newbie but an Oldie to LC. Mirena Coil Question

Hello to anyone reading this forum, just wanted to introduce myself and ask a question. I'm 51 next month, have been LCHF since 2003 (more or less) and never had any trouble losing any extra pounds I gain when I fall off the wagon!! Until this year. Met a fabulous new man last July and we had a great indulgent 6 months but gained nearly a stone in fun fat. Wonderfully he has joined me in this LCHF lifestyle but, and here's the butt... I haven't lost!! Last year before we met I dropped 10 pounds without even really trying but in June I had a Mirena coil fitted to alleviate problems with heavy periods. That has worked! But since starting LCHF with a vengeance in the New Year I have just lost 3 pounds, my weight keeps fluctuating those same 3 pounds. We eat really well, it seems its a great maintenance diet but I reckon we are only on 20-30g carb per day, and I'm only just in ketosis!! This time last year the weight fell off, like it always did. Is it the coil?? It has progesterone in it, is that the reason it's so hard? Has anyone else got experience of this. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts. Thanks (thinking of braving a Fat Fast for a few days to get things moving)
