yes, but instead of carb quick, I use whole wheat pastry flour and splenda and Splenda brown sugar. So I am not sure if using carbquick there is a necessary conversion. I would think not.

Thanks Lickrish, I will check both Walmart & Target.

Splenda makes brown sugar? I have only been able to find a splenda/brown sugar mix. Do you suppose it would be that bad since it's only 3/4 C ?? I know the brown sugar twin is very light and fluffy compared to regular brown sugar. Do you know how that will affect the cookie since you can't pack it??

IME, a drop or two of maple flavoring like Mapleine added to things made with Splenda gives the brown sugar taste. I think this is a much better alternative than Brown Sugar Twin.

Yes, they do and it's awesome...shhh, sometimes I add it to my pork dishes...omg heavenly!

I think that the brown sugar twin would be just fine. Or run out to your grocery store and get it. I got mine at Vons and Albertsons here in California.

As far as I've been able to find, brown sugar Splenda is the Splenda/brown sugar mix - I don't think they've made a sugar-free brown sugar version. I hope I'm wrong, but ......

You are correct, Glenda. If you live in Canada you can get cyclamate that is brown sugar flavored -- Sugar Twin Brown. In the US, Sugar Twin Brown is saccharin and tastes like, well,

I made some chocolate chip cookies for my blog that have gotten positive reviews. You could use Splenda in place of the natural sweeteners. They'll be crispy rather than chewy that way.
