Default LC tortilla for pizza base

How can I use a LC tortilla (I bought some from Netrition, I think they are called Mama Lupa's) as the base for a pizza? I mean, anyone got a recipe example?

I've found LC tortillas at Wal-Mart. They are wheat based and the package says they are 7 grams carbs less 3 grams fiber for a total gram count of 4 (I can't remember the brand name). I put them in the oven on about 350 for about 10 minutes (flip after about 5 minutes). You can get them as crispy as you like. Then I put a couple of teaspoons of Ragu pizza sauce on them, then you can top with cheese, pepperoni and anything else you like (within the low carb realm!!).
I usually fix about 4 of these, eat 1 for dinner and then have the rest for lunch the next few days. Just fold them in half and eat like a taco - they warm up real good in the microwave and are totally yummy!!!!
You have to be careful of the so-called low carb tortillas - some may have as many as 11 carbs in them.
Good luck!

Mine are 3 net carbs.

After you do the 10 min thing in the oven, that's just for the tortilla. Do you cook it after you put on cheese / pepperoni?

I just put it under the broiler to melt the cheese and heat the sauce a bit. You have to watch it or it will burn. I personally heat my pepperoni seperately and then add them but thats just me. heh

I made a pizza out with Josephs pita bread and it was pretty good.

My newest "easiest" addiction is just to saute a handful of sliced mushrooms in butter and top them with cheese, sauce and if I have them pepperoni and heat in the microwave until melted plus a nice salad with some homemade creamy garlic dressing. I could eat that every meal if I didn't have a family to feed. lol

I've made pizza-ish wraps. Chop some pepperoni, mushrooms, or whatever other "pizza toppings" you'd like. Throw in shredded cheese and a bit of sauce. Fold it like a burrito and grill it on the George Foreman grill. Yum. It's nice with the sauce on the side to dip, so it's less messy.

hey songwriter,
I forgot to mention that I do put them back in the oven long enough to melt the cheese. You can either bake them or broil them. Enjoy
