February Summary

Total Steps: 373,244
Total Miles: 178
Average daily: 12,871
Miles Bicycling: 0
Miles Jogging: 6.2

This was my worst showing in terms of average steps in a long time. At least I'm still moving everyday. I can't be too upset about that.

I've been laying off the jogging for the past few weeks. I've been working long hours and fighting off a minor bug of some kind, but I did this mainly to let my knee injury fully recover. I also saw this as an aid to getting my eating (portion size) under control. When I lost all my weight several years ago I was not jogging as part of my routine. In fact, whenever I've been training hard for a 10K race I always manage to be gaining weight. This past year I put on several pounds. I'm working on my eating to reverse this trend.

I have a 10K coming up at the end of the month. The plan is to ease back into jogging over the next few weeks and run my 2020 Richmond 10K at a comfortably slow pace. Kelsey shall wear the crown this year.
