hiya mobster...i'm a guy!
finding this diet working out not too bad. my wife is also doing it, but it's a bit of a stuggle for her even tho she's dedicated to it and sticking to it to the tee... but we do find it's easier for more than 1 person in a house to do the diet. hope all's working out 4 u!

Hey dude! Just started this tonight. I flirted with it a few years ago, but couldnt stay away from Bread (see my post Bread...oh SWEET bread). Anyway, Im gonna make this work now!

good to hear! i never had any probs giving up bread, sweets, potatos, all the high carb foods. ill take protien any day. the biggest problem i've had is giving up milk! i drank lots and lots before and still crave it. that and a good bbq sauce fo marinate the steaks in!

Yep. I'm here. 2 weeks induction, 13 lbs. feeling good. Keeping up with running and biking. Couldn't believe how fast the weight came off.

Another guy checking in. Been doing this for a month. Most of the time I love it. Sometimes I must admit I miss stopping at a fast food place on the way home instead of cooking. But that is a small price to pay for a healthy life.

Hey, there are quite a few guys in the journals.

Just get out there and sample them, you will find a steady, and vociferous, group of guys. Donald from Chicago (drwolfe, I think) is one of the most supportive, knowledgable, and prolific posters on this whole site. Do yourself a favor and check out his journal in the Ds.

I have been on Atkins/Protein Power since September 23, 2002, and I plan to be on it for the remainder of my life.

Now, then, just to stir up a little hate and discontent among the guys and gals reading here, here is a list of the reasons why it is good to be a guy:
