I'm on my 4th day of M&E and feel awesome....I am wondering how is everyone else progress on it? I also like the simplicity of the meals. They take little to no time at all to prepare. I am not doing strictly M&E but a slight variation. Would love to hear from some of ya'll!

so after a whole day checking out this thread (up till page 31 any way and I going to give this a shot so for me after my dinner of chicken an cabbage tonight
i start the meat and egg fast.

Ive read most of the posts in this forum but I have 1 question Im hoping someone can answer for me:

When you finish your week long (at least for me) M&E fast and return to LC, will your body just pick up from where it left off (before you stalled) and continue to lose weight again?

so today is my day
start out with
2 eggs scrambled with butter
2 slices 0 carb bacon
lunch i made
2 hamburgers from the 80% lean
and i boiled 4 eggs to get me over any hungry spots
i intend to drink only water
but it is early
:O)

ive been on the m&e diet since nov. and love it...i went from 18 to 8 and lost 55 lbs....i now just stating add salads back.. but you have to had carbs back slowly like 5 a day for a week to see were your body takes the carbs

This is the beginning of day 5 for myself and have lost 2lbs this week. I am pleased with the high amounts of energy I have throughout the day too! I think I will stick to this for awhile!

I've been reading this meat/egg thread for the past 3 days. I started yesterday. Today I was already down 2lbs (in one day) I love it. I said I would not weigh myself until day 3, but I could not wait. The only thing is today I ate about 8 small fresh raw spinach leaves with my salmon, I can't do all the eggs. I think I consumed maybe 1-2 carbs in the spinach, and only a small amount of seasoning on the salmon, I'm drinking over 64 ounces a day, and I have so much energy, and no hunger. Another thing, In september 2006, I had a TAH (hysterectomy). I immediately started menopause and the hot flashes were horrible, and since I started the Meat/Egg, I've only had 1 minor flash in 2 days. I have an aweful metal taste in my mouth, and I know that is a sign of ketosis. I am so glad I came to this thread. I was successful on atkins 2 years ago, and maintained, then after my surgery I started eating things that just ain't healthy. I turned into a junk food junky. I kept trying to restart induction , but failed cravings would kick in and I'll give into the cravings. I love this, and I am looking forward to succeeding finally.

Such great success stories, they serve as great motivators

wow.....I feel better with just meat and eggs and a few condiments...such energy and also---less to worry about as to what to eat!!......sooooo this thread encourages me =)....I am working hard at losing some more weight this week!....let's stay on our programs and don't cheat!.....yeah!

glad to see yall here this is the only diet for me ..ive been bad the last couple of weeks but back on track now. need to lose 19 lbs by june 13....if there is a way this diet is it.......have a great meat and egg day......

I like this woe as well. Although I have included some items that are not meat but really really high in protein. Since I start this 10 days ago I am down 4lbs! Only have 1.4lbs more to go right now! Can't believe it

Today is day 3, for me I need to know if this works with egg whites instead of the whole egg. I love my egg whites in the morning with turkey.
does anyone know if not consuming the entire egg will hinder the weight loss process?
