On the Schwarzbein method, do you normally gain weight before losing weight? I been doing this method for two weeks and have gained instead of lost but I feel amazing and am sleeping better. I am hoping that someone will be able to tell me this works.

I have several of Dr. Diana Schwarzbein's books.
She states, "you have to gain weight to heal your metabolism".
For those who gain on her healing diet she has several pages of explanations as to the different conditions that cause this problem.
Know your post was from a month ago and not certain if you still check in here.

Thank you. For someone who is trying to lose weight this program is hard because you have to gain weight. I give up after not seeing any results. I love the idea that you can eat real good and healthy food but I need to ask if you have done this program, gained weight then lost and love the way you feel or felt?

I didn't give it a real chance and went back to Atkins at the time as it was so simple.
I got all the books because a friend had a son with cancer.
His doctor had hoped that the healthy foods would help with his cancer (to late for that).
I thought if it was being used to support cancer patients it was a good idea.
There is a lot of information on the web to draw from now.
It wasn't there at the time I brought the books (2nd hand bookstore).
