Adrienne seems pretty easy to listen to...

So far, so good.

I'm in, but I'll be a day behind. I got home too late today and DH got home early... I'd rather do it when I'm alone in the house after work, no distractions.

Day 1 in the books. I'm only slightly sore... we'll see how I feel in the morning. I like her style so far.

Day 2 down. I have to confess, though, I skipped through the first 10 minutes of whatever she was saying while just sitting on the mat. I'll go back and listen later today.

I was sore as heck last night and this morning. I can't believe I didn't think to take glutamine yesterday - it's been sitting in my kitchen for a year or so, probably expired. I took it this morning, but probably too little too late. Oh well.

So, today is Day 4... I have been watching and practicing- but from a significantly adapted prone position. lol!

I honestly feel like a person who is physically handicapped - and I am trying very hard, to treat myself wtih respect and encouragement as I would for someone else with my limitations. It's hard. I hate that I can't move the way I want. I hate that my back hurts and the sciatica is a constant torture ranging from a 3/10 most of the time, on the pain scale, to a killer 15/10 when it's at its zenith...

SO, I continue... barely doing it- BUT, doing it!

Finished day 4 - I was so relieved when I saw it was only 20 min.

Sigh - I did this for 8 straight days, but I'm going to have to bow out. I've been having chronic pain in my shoulder since September, and it got really bad this week. I didn't feel any pain or aggravation while I was doing the videos, but I don't want to take a chance until I get a diagnosis. There's a little too much weight-bearing on the arms.

I am, however, going to continue upright positions on my own. I have a great book that I found probably 12 years ago, and I'll just go back to that. I'm aiming for at least three times a week. I'll keep track in my journal and in the 90-day habit thread.

I really like Adrienne's program, and I'll bookmark it for the future, if/when I can sort out my shoulder.

I suck.

Got a Spinal Injection yesterday (last resport before surgery) for my 2 ruptured discs and sever sciatica...

I have not been doing the yoga. Too hard since I can't really move and I'm not supposed to twist...

Anyway! Like Christine, I plan to try again when my body is in better condition!

I wish everyone a SUPER New Year!!!

Jams
