Thank you! I am probably a wee bit out of place here as I am not as LOW as the majority when it comes to carbs but for me I needed some flexibilty. I stay away from bad carbs though and simply eat 3 meals and 2 snacks until satisfied. Its been a real journey for me. I will be working with a sponsor to do my step work this week - very exciting

Bumping it up after a year of quiet...I celebrated eight years in December.

Now if I could just get sober from the food as long...currently, five days of abstinence!

Wow..so glad I found this thread..and I am beyond inspired to see folks with SO MUCH TIME!

Me..well I only have..6 months..It will be 7months this coming Monday..

So grateful.

As far as diet..well over the last 7 months I've done a lot of gaining and losing and as of today I am up a good 13lbs. My sponsor says I have enough to deal with right now. FIRST THINGS FIRST.

Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and again so great to stumble upon some strength, hope, and courage even here on a LC forum.

Much love,

well, I just noticed this thread also - due to gweny 70 post! 7 yrs Bill's friend. And Day One with low carb foods (again). Step 1 with that. Realized yesterday also that it's G*'s will that I need to follow with the foods and not try to obsessively control it. Man listens, G* talks, Man obeys, G* acts. Trusting that!

So great to see you all! I lost my sponser last week, she had 40 years, I visited her Wednsday night and she passed away on Thursday, so I am feeling a bit lost, but have been going to a lot of meetings and was able to get off from work Monday for her funeral and yesterday and today also. Its been quite here lately, but its good to know I have friends everywhere. esp. now.
