Default Forum for LCers who are also Compulsive Eaters?

Hi there,
Don't know if this is the place to put this but here goes. I'm wondering if we might be able to set up a forum either here or in the Support Groups section (guess that's where it really belongs) for LCers who are also Compulsive Eaters. I recently did research and discovered I have had this problem since I was 13. This isn't the occasional or even once a month binge but for people who go on binges for extended periods of time (like days or even weeks) when they fall off the wagon. I've found some support groups out there for CEers but none that are geared towards those who have adapted the LCing way of life. I truely believe LCing is one way to combat this. I recently went on a cycle of days of binging and then going back to LCing and I would have loved the support that these boards bring for specifically those who suffer like I do.

Don't know if it's possible but just thought I'd put it out there...

Thanks,
Tam

Hi Tam. Good idea. I'm not sure if it would get its own support area, but a thread is a good start.

Yes, I'm at goal, but I still need the support here because it's still my nature to eat compulsively. I was raised that way. I still fight it. I guess it really is like an addiction. The weight goes away, but not necessarily the old habits.

Very interesting. Ya know, in the past couple months while I wasn't following Atkins as closely as I should, I really didn't eat a whole lot of high carb foods. The problem was more with overeating...eating even when I KNEW I wasn't hungry...even FULL sometimes. Also, maybe thats why I find it easier to stay on track if I'm very strict with myself. I guess it sounds like I can tend to eat compulsively too.
