Hi, in Somersizing, you can eat carbohydrates that do contain protein - it's a little hard to avoid - just make sure the carb you eat doesn't have extra added fat. Some carbs have fat naturally, and according to the food combining rules of Somersizing, that is acceptable. One example of this would be no fat/vegetarian pinto or black refried beans.
