haha- awesome, but wow.....that is a lot of cheese and bacon. the final plate had 4 string cheese and 8 slices bacon. i think i would half that. and maybe serve each stick cut into two, to make 4 shorter sticks. maybe cut them in half before frying, to make it neater.
did you try these yet?

No, I haven't tried this yet. I actually forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me! I think I would start with making just one if it's just for me. That would be one cheese stick and 2 slices of bacon. I see a plate of them as being an appetizer or snack to share.

Gail~ Have you tried the HEB stuffed Jalapeno Poppers yet? They're in the meat department.
The peppers are halved, stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped one 1 whole slice of bacon.
They are the best things I've ever had!! I put them in my cast iron skillet and roast them in the oven.

I haven't tried them from HEB, but I've had some that friends have made themselves. I haven't tried making them myself yet, but I need to. I agree , they are delicious!!!

The video in the original post above seems to no longer exist. Do any of you have the recipe for this?
