Smile Healthier Scrambled Egg (Basic)

This is how I prepare basic scrambled eggs (before sprucing them up with cheese, sour cream or how ever you like).

1 Large Egg
Liquid Egg Whites

*Whip up one large egg. Pour in liquid egg whites. Stir the two together*

I'm sure you all know this already, but I do this every morning to cut the amount of calories, and tastes just as great in my opinion!

I miss being able to eat bananas and grapes the most! Berries should be fine since they are a low sugar fruit though. Sounds like a yummy breakfast to me.

i love bananas. not eating them right now but there are 3 of them in my house that i got however, i will be using them to make some banana bread for my friends because they love my cooking/baking and ask me to whip one up for them. they suppose to be bring me some honey and raisins to add to it so just waiting for them to get all the ingredients. i know it will have the house smelling so yummy, but i'm so super into ketosis i really don't think it's going to bother me at all; i'm too busy working on self so that i can reach my goal for my 53rd bday in February.

well, back to the thread topic...

love my eggs pretty basic.. either fried medium or scrambled medium w/just salt & pepper. sometimes i like a lil' cheese, but that's pretty rare.

one of these days i will make me a egg, cheese, spinach, n' asparagus frittata, but i gotta be in the mood for it.

i miss my daily banana! but i buy them for my daughter, and i will use 1/4 of a frozen banana in a smoothie made with soy milk, heavy cream, and half n half, i figure once a week if that....is still a pleasurable treat! im doing really good with motivation! my house is almost completely free of sugar, snacks, and my 18 year old active teen doesnt really need a diet, but she is cutting out sugar too! better for her skin!!

Healthier for me is ditch the liquid egg whites and use whole eggs.

I did not say that. Why would I be on this diet claiming that eggs are unhealthy...I use "Healthi-ER" because I like to cut calories when I can.

If I come across two similiar items with no carbs and one has a lower fat and calorie content, I will choose that item.

I'm looking at the eggs and eggwhites I use as a reference..
They both have no carbs which is an automatic win, but:

1 egg: 70 cal, 4g fat

1 serving eggwhites: 25 cal, 0g fat

I understand Adkins is a high fat diet, however I see no problem with this method. NO OFFENSE TO EGGS.

That's Atkins, not Adkins. I would think healthier eggs would be whole eggs with no packaged whites.
However, each to their own.
