Great Job EmJha and Kat!!! Ms Arielle what is going on?


On Monday I had 60 carbs instead of 30 and yesterday was BAD.

I ate 2 boiled eggs and a peach. The lowcarb urination issue began at the drs office on Tuesday. They don't have a restroom in their office you have to get the key. So 2 times in 15min I get the key. The guy with the key says "again?" Then my appointment and 15 min again. I'm too embarrassed to ask for the key so I go to fast food restaurant. I buy a burger so I'm not free loading. I COULD HAVE BOUGHT A DIET SODA OR A BOTTLE OF WATER but I wanted the problem to go away.

Having to pee 3 times in one hour is weird. The burger ended the problem.

I'm trying to get back on the wagon! Really , I am!!!!!

Had to set up a 90-- day- change-- my -habits- program-- it's like going to AA. Honestly I would rather be an alcoholic-- at least if I said Im a recovering alcoholic most people understand and stop pushing a drink at me.

But to say low carb----- "what the heck is that?" Here , do you want a cake? DO you want pasta? I would like to run screaming!! Maybe I need to say I am a diabetic??? Well, that wouldn't work either--- the people handing me the food are diabetics too.

Na-- all that water is a good thing. You know, it's when your bod is shifting. YOu know Im happy if you are happy--- do what ever works for you. Bring clay next time and make a copy. The you dont need to ask for a key.

TODAY is DAY ONE. Hoping I get that whoosh over the next couple days.

Still working on 2 meals a day. OMAD still out of reach.... eating more fats as salty beef crisps in hopes of replacing a meal .....

I didn't know you were doing OMAD, too -- you're getting great results! Congratulations!

I'm not seeing miraculous results, myself -- except that any results at all had started seeming pretty miraculous. I like that I can eat pretty much anything I want, within reason, and don't have to feel deprived. I can eat until I feel full, once a day.

I discovered this week that I can fit into blue jeans I last wore a little over 2 years ago. Also, 3 pairs of business casual slacks that I bought just before my husband passed away, and couldn't even get fastened (even though they were the same brand and size as ones I was wearing at the time -- what's up with that?). I had planned to wait five more pounds before I tried them. Glad I didn't. Woo-hoo!

I put on 25 lb in 3 months after my husband passed. The hospice folks sent helpful little booklets. The third one noted that, if weight had changed significantly, grief counseling might be called for. Not for me, thanks. Took me 2 years to reach a point where I was ready to address the weight, though. At least I got there.

Anyway, enough about me. You've given me great encouragement for my progress so far, and I wanted to return the favor. Good job!
