Cool bread crumbs????

I miss my breaded pork chops and breaded fried chicken
I was thinking of using low carb bread to make some bread crumbs but low carb bread is cakey and gets soggy
Anyone have a good recipe or idea on what I can use
Or can I just use my reg bread crumbs and count the carbs? Or is there too much sugar?

Try using crushed pork rinds or grated parmesan cheese for breading. There are LC bake mixes out there too, but I personally haven't tried these.

I love the parmesan cheese - it makes a crispy topping...I dip my chicken in egg, then in the cheese adn bake it..

I use ground almonds or hazelnuts and really like that in place of bread crumbs. You can get them already ground up at Trader Joe's but don't know if they have any stores outside the US)

I rub my chicken with mayo then roll it in parmesan cheese. It comes out crispy and tastes yummy.

Cant vouch for the chicken but I used almond flour on my pork chops and it was so good.

I've got Keto Crumbs in a can I ordered from a Health Food Store in Toronto but I have not yet tried them out.

Re: Chicken wings......how would you make salt & pepper wings.....do they need a coating or no? Do you bake or deep fry. If you deep fry wings - how long do you cook them for?

An alternative to high-carb normal bread crumbs is panko, or Japanese bread crumbs. They crisp up real nice. Bread a chicken cutlet with egg, then panko, fry in olive oil, top with a lemon-caper-butter sauce you got yourself a nice chicken piccata.

You generally use less, and they are lower in carbs per cup than regular bread crumbs. Granted, they are bread crumbs. So you will get some carbs from them.
