Default Exercise Log - "Strong Enough"

"Exercise is non-negotiable..." Dr. Atkins

I just now noticed this part of the forum, I had been keeping a log on my computer, but this is a better idea. I am going to transfer my log over to here, then I'll update this log from now on.

This log will cover exercise at the gym;
outdoor exercise such as walking and bike riding,
strenuous gardening, such as raking, mowing, digging,
and etc.

---------

New Year's Resolution is to exercise; more important than diet at this point for me.

I must admit that dieting seems to come hand in hand when you exercise. So, I am exercising and dieting.

12-31-06 New Year's Eve - Sunday

I usually go to the gym on Fridays, but again, yard work does me in, is harder on my back than the gym so I am taking today and tomorrow off for rest.

Spent 5 hours in the yard, pruning rose bushes and other plants and tilling and turning over the ground. Was a good upper body workout. (I can feel it in my arms and shoulders).

30 minutes on the treadmill at the gym. problem with my knee.

(note: I had twisted my knee last year and either the yard work or the gym has irritated it. The knee is swollen like there is fluid under it and there is a crunching sound when I walk with it. )

I am not sure if I should stop or just go at an easier pace at the gym till it feels better.
