1. No cheats - on plan food only. To aid with this I am taking a small notepad with me and when I see something I think I will throw in my mouth I am going to write it down instead. Another day ok. Both libraries had a granola bar that sounded good to me... Unique dk choc flavors, both. I am happy with my cheese cubes - I discovered I can get Kerrygold Dubliner at Walmart in the area where I get the cheapest gas for 3.50... the closest Walmart quit carrying it

Reluctant to eat, not hungry and just have so many things I am trying to keep up with. Took cheese cubes with me when I went to see my mom, none of her snacks appeal to me. As usual, fast food places call loudly.

I keep joining this thread and then leaving. So now I am back to try again. I am disciplined about my food, my daily walking and my daily meditation. Now I am working on my sleep, trying to get it more in line with daily circadian rhythms. With that in mind I have 2 90 day goals.

1. In bed by 9:30
2. Computer off by 6PM.

It is the second one which will be the most challenging.

Good to see you too Thud. You are not the first to notice that about saying "Hi" to me. Generally it happens in face to face meetings when the person saying this first notices it and then chuckles about it. It has happened so often to me that I have learned to just let it pass with little to no comment, usually just remarking that this is not the first time someone has become aware of the phrase.

Jean: Ha, I'll just say Hello Jean! My godmother's name was Jean and when I thought I might move to Eugene, OR, she told me I couldn't move there, it sounded too funny! We are always glad to see you here.

Definitely a roll eyes. Some dark chocolate on the table at work (something that appealed very much.) Without gory details, my mom is on comfort care only now, a matter of time. Famdamily dynamics are ugly.

Jean, do you find it tougher this time of year because of longer days and nicer weather? I definitely do, though if I get out and do something in the nice weather, I'm good and tired by 9:00 pm or so.

Kristine - I get up really early every day and most days take a long walk outside so by 9:30 PM I am ready for bed. I took a walk this morning at sunrise. I am hoping to make this a daily habit. We'll see.

Day 2
Computer turned off at 8:30PM Had streamed online live course
Bed by 9:30
