End date : Oct 10

No sugar, no grains, limit watermelon to one sm wedge a day and allow low g.i. fruits. Limit greens and veg to four to five cups a day. Limit 40 carbs max; 30 is goal.

Take meds.

This thread has sort of turned into my place to journal. I see this challenge as a club of sorts -- a group of wise, like minded low carbers that realize that we are in this for the long haul and that it will take some thought, effort, and accountability in order for us to stay in a healthy place. I don't read every post here, but I do browse them regularly and silently cheer folks on.

I'm still lurking and cheering, too, and will be back here soon. I'll want the accountability again once I'm working in September. It's pretty easy to stay on track when you have nothing to do all day.

Barb, congrats on a successful challenge. It's a good feeling to be able to trust yourself in maintenance.

2 Week practice plan: Plot Net Carbs per day and Fast one (1) day a week. I will consider a Fast greater than 24hr.

X = Less than or equal to 25 Net Carbs
O = 26 or greater Net Carbs
F = Fasted Day

Hi Kristine, opposite on this - If I have nothing to do my mind starts to entertain ideas of food sometimes for no good reason - never really think of eating when doing activities - so that's kind of a substitute for mindless eating. Be well

Day 28 of 90

Logged all of my meals this weekend. I haven't done that in a while. The 3 day average was 26 net carbs, 31g fiber and 2650 calories. Friday a two meal day with a late snack. Sat/Sun had 3 meals -- no snacking. I also did two 5K jogs. I'm making better decisions - choosing what will result in weight loss over instant gratification.

Number of days with no eating after dinner: 15

Yesterday a fast day. Not eating at all is easier than limiting foods at each meal. Also using TRE.
