i have been low carbing for 51 days now and i am down 18 lbs so far. it is a daily battle but i am fighting. feeling better overall. if i could do it i know others can because i am a carbaholic (lol). and i will continue to fight....

Well done Icegator, that is fantastic.
Glad you are coming on to the forum and making use of all the good advice and tips. Agree with Nrracing we have been indoctrinated to believe that the only way to lose weight is low calorie/low fat. Truth, as we are finding on here is it's almost exactly the opposite. Well maybe not a free for all on the calories and unlimited fat could be a problem! But you get my point eating low calorie, low fat increases hunger. For us the worst offender is the carbs THEY INCREASE HUNGER. Now when trying to get to our natural weight what could be worse than that!! Just follow what works for you and is sustainable. Keep moving in the same direction and accept it will take time. Every day, week month you will be a little further on your journey and you will be picking up new habits and tastes. Keep your meals tasty, it's perfectly healthy to eat good tasty food. Enjoy and keep posting.
