Default I need a kick in the pants

Man, I am having an extremely hard time sticking to this....I do well for like a week and then decide to eat what I want for a day, then go back on and off, and on and off....I lost 45 lbs last year and since last August have been doing this and haven't lost a thing...I'm actually 10 lbs heavier.....any motivations you've used to make yourslef do it?

There you go.

I know it's hard to get motivated again if you're just sort of mentally stuck where you are. Is there anything in particular going on during those times that you decide to go ahead and "eat what you want?"

What do you think might help you get back on LC full time? Starting a journal, perhaps, so we can cheer you on? More support from your family? Better food?

How about browsing the "Best Of" forum? Here's a good thread: Self-sabotage: Why? How do you stop?

I did the Atkins diet for a long time, and did it the same way. I found it hard to stick too in the long run. After a long time of back and forth I decided to give South Beach a try. SO far its working. I just find its more forgiving at the end of the day then Atkins was.

But really its all the same to me, I dont want to get caught up in details. And whether its Atkins or South Beach is a detail to me.

Just a thought. Hope you find it easier sooner.
