I've been mking the pancakes and experimenting with them a bit. Good for a "bread", keeping things moving, been losing!

Make some banana flax muffins or some flax bread.... they're the best..

can give you the one I make just about every other day. Mine has nuts in it
Basically the spongebob one but changed a little

2 cups milled (ground) flax (I prefer golden)
1 cup nuts (I use walnuts)
1/2 cup granulated splenda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

1 tbl banana extract
1/2 cup davinci vanilla syrup
1/3 cooking oil
4 eggs beaten

bake 350 for 15 minutes
Makes 12 muffins. Tastes very similar to real banana nut muffins

And that jsut reminded me to start using it again

I use flax all the time... and I've found with the muffins I keep them in the fridge... and as far as the meal, I keep mine in the freezer...

Personally I don't use the almond flour.. instead I use 1/4 cup of flaxmeal. I also leave out the splenda. This bread rawks for sandwiches and is very convenient to use.

T-man

==============================

Three min microwave bread

INGREDIENTS:
1/8 cup almond flour (almond meal)
1/8 cup Ground Flaxseed/Flax meal
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
a "pinch" of bulk splenda
1 Tablespoon butter, melted
1 egg

I make this in a 2 cup plastic, square, Tubberware container. You can experiment and use different shaped ones.

METHOD:
Melt butter in plastic container. Beat in egg. add dry ingredients. Mix throughly with a fork. Cover cup with glad wrap, cut a small slit in wrap. Microwave on high for about 1 minute 30 secs. Microwaves may vary. Check on it. Do not over cook.

This is not like the flaxseed muffins, this is a "bread". You could use it as a sandwich or just to go with a meal. Not bad (my fav is the muffins) but this is WAY better then any mix recipe I have ever tried. The texture is like a fluffy bread. Sort of like a white fluffy bread with a corn meal taste to it, if that helps. I have made french toast out of this, Sandwiches, toast for dippy eggs Grilled Cheese Sandwiches etc... ENJOY!

Here's a flax pizza recipe...

INGREDIENTS:
1 and 1/2 C flax seed meal
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
Sweetener to equal about 1 Tablespoon of sugar
3 Tablespoons of oil
3 eggs
1/2 C water
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 425 F.

Mix dry ingredients together.

Add wet ingredients, and mix very well.

Let sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.

Spread on pan (I put it on a silicon mat or greased parchment paper).

Bake for 15-18 minutes until cooked through, then add toppings and cook until they are done.

The microwave OneMinuteMuffin is my favorite. You can change the flavors with sf syrups.

I make my flax crackers out of just water and ground flax (linseed in UK).
Mix equal volumes of cold water and ground flax and let thicken up.
Spoon onto parchment paper and flatten out with the back of the spoon then microwave a minute at a time till done.
I sometimes add grated parmesan or spices to the mixture.

Flax doesn't seem to make me go to the bathroom. It just gives...uh...consistency. It's good fiber though.

I have seen ppl recommend it as a solution to diarea rather than constipation.
