Default i feel the exact same way

i am 20 yrs old and i have had the same experiences the past few years. About 2 years ago I started dieting just to lose a few pounds but that turned into a full blown eating disorder and I ate about 700-800 calories a day and weighed about 101. I realized that I did not want to live the rest of my life like this and so after alot of therapy began to eat more normal quantities of food. however, i never ate more than 1300 caloreis a day or so and in the past year I have gained every pound i lost back. i constantly think about this and freak out about it and a part of me wishes I had the willpower to go back to eating 800 calories a day. I dont understand why I cant lose wieght eating so little so I have started the south beach diet in the past few weeks, jhowever I still have not lost any weight. I dont understand why my body is doing this to me and i was wondering if anyone knew any solutions to this problem.

Ok I have had the same problem and found the answer to be in strength training with weights - don't go overboard so you bulk up and dont eat too much protein (I find 50-70 gms a day ideal) See when you lost all that weight before you probably lost lean body mass and there for lowered your metabolism - you need to gain back some of that lean body mass - and if you stay the same in weight fear not - pay attention to your clothing size - and drink tons of water - I find weight loss much easier and my skin to look so much better when i drink plenty of water....any more questions let me know!

don't be so quick to judge -- this is normal for me. considering i eat 2200 calories a day, i don't much think i'm starving myself.
