Thumbs up Sunday and Aquafit

Had a good session with Sophie today. Must admit that near the end I seemed to pull a muscle in my shoulder. I hope that this does not amount to much.

Before the session I swam 4 lengths of breast stroke.

Can't go next Sunday, Church Parade.

Thumbs up Gym on Thursday

Rested my shoulder on Tuesday and did not get to aquafit on Wednesday due to the gas man. Had a good session today. Took some of the stress away, but because of my shoulder just did cardio work.

This is what I did:
Rowing machine - 10 minutes at level 6 - up 1 level

Treadmill - 10 min at 4.0 kph - up 5 min
Treadmill - 5 min at 3.5 kph
Treadmill - 5 min at 3.0 kph, 5% gradient - up 3 min
Treadmill - 5 min at 3.0 kph, -5% gradient - new
Treadmill - 5 min at 3.0 kph - new

Felt fine afterwards although I could feel my right shoulder muscle aching. The session lasted around 45 minutes.

Had a good session with Mandy. Could not go Sunday because of Church Parade. Water still too cold, but the air was warmer and so my shoulders did not feel so cold. My shoulder felt fine today.

Thumbs up Wednesday and Aquafit

Had another good session with Mandy.

At long last they have fixed the pump in the pool and warmer water is being pumped in. It was still cold, but compared to Monday it felt positvely tropical! It will be interesting to see how warm it feels on Friday.

Booked in for next Wednesday, the last Wednesday session before Christmas.

Thumbs up Thursday at the gym

Did not go to aquafit on Wednesday as I felt so tired. Now think I'm getting a cold, which could be why I'm a bit off at the moment. Took it a little easy and just did 35 minutes.

This is what I did:
Treadmill - 5 min at 3.5 kph
Treadmill - 5 min at 3.5 kph, -5% gradient
Treadmill - 5 min at 3.5 kph
Rowing machine - 15 minutes at level 9 - Up 1 level
Felt fine afterwards.

Had a good session with Mandy today. Gosh, the water was warm, just like being in the bath. So with my cold I took things easy. Funnily enough it was colder in the jacuzzi!

Booked in for next Friday, but think there may not be a class.
