Delightful interview with Dr. Madany. Interesting how those with low carb awareness and clinical practices are succeeding despite the risk of not being mainstream. The anecdotes of his patients being in independent living and nursing home facilities is particularly interesting to one having had a parent in independent living and knowing the typical food served. It is a challenge, as these places are no better than hospitals serving high carb, sugared foods to their residents. Given that he's had success with his patients, he's someone worth heeding.

This is interesting, because in the long long list of things that make me dread such places, FOOD is probably #2. Not having pets is #1

Dr Madany's was one of the first interviews I recorded.

As much as I would be happy to take the credit for many aspects of it, there are little things my critical eye still notices. Both of us stopped and started a couple of times with our questions and answers on the day, and so I can spot the edits between the questions and answers. I wish I'd smiled more for the camera as well.

We were both a bit nervous going in, but we did at least have a few minutes to go over things beforehand which I'm sure helped us both. And he did have some great heartwarming stories to tell in the end. I enjoyed watching this one back... well, his parts anyway!

Another good interview conducted by Grav with Dr Sanjeev Balakrisnan from Perth.

Loved his comment about increasing insulin with standard diabetes treatment.."like a dog chasing its own tail".
