Default Halfway to my goal!

I just was editing my profile when I realized my percentage was at 51% of my goal weight. I'm so excited! I am hoping to lose a wee bit more, but I set this goal because I wasn't sure if I could stick with it. I can't believe 2 1/2 months have gone by so quickly. I was hoping to keep up 10 lbs. a month of weight loss, but I'm happy to just keep moving forward.

Here's a list of things I've noticed that have improved since I began (TMI!)

-My blood sugar has never gone higher than 94, it only went above 90 once. Usual readings are 74-88. Excellent because my parents are both T2D!

-My appetite has reduced significantly.

- My cycles seem to have gotten shorter and healthier.

- I don't poo as much, but it is never difficult.

- My skin looks better than it ever has! I think it is because the inflammation is gone, but now I need very little foundation and my skin is SO smooth.

- My thinking is very clear and I don't get brain fog mid afternoon like I used to, unless I stayed up too late. I find I can also read books more easily, I have better focus.

- I feel calmer and less anxious in general. I just feel like my brain is happy eating all of this fat.

- Strangely enough, I am also eating more vegetables than when I was eating the SAD.

What are some benefits you all have experienced?

Congratulations on reaching half of your goal. That is a big milestone! A bigger milestone is the stone falling from your neck as you experience greater health.

Great job! and I'm sure you will reach goal, even if it takes longer than you would like. I also seem to have wonderfully smooth skin now. I think my hair is growing faster. Your blood sugar results are very good--are those fasting BG only? My post-prandial numbers are nowhere near that good!

Those are fasting (in the morning) and random (afternoon or evening). Thanks! I'm happy with it too!

Great Job

Isn't it great having improved health! And the weight-loss is nothing to sneeze at either.
