Default 50 pounds lost

Since July 7, 2014 I've been climbing the Atkins ladder. As of today, I have lost 50 pounds and gone from a size 14 to a size 6. I used to be about 6 pounds lighter in my late teens and early 20s. But I might be happy to stop after 2-4 pounds, especially since I'm managing my diabetes very well and lifting weights 3-5 times a week.

Thank you for all the support and encouragement.

Thanks Judy, I've been having good results (weight loss + even blood sugar) even though I have included controlled quantities of legumes and beans on and off in my diet. I do not, however, eat any white carbs or wheat.

Great job. I think my 50 pound milestone was my favorite one so far. By the time 50 pound came off, I knew I was serious about this WOE and was getting the job done. I only wish that 50 would have gotten me 96% of the way to goal. You are so close! WTG! I wish you the best going the rest of the way.

Great job! I'm curious about your diet--what are "white carbs"?
