For those of you who are customers of Road Runner as your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you need to be aware of the following problem.

Road Runner is censoring/deleting all your emails that are coming from our forum (forum.lowcarber.org). i.e. they will no longer allow you to receive email notifications for threads that you are subscribed to, password reminders, or new member registration and activation emails.

This started on December 31, 2003, when Road Runner started blocking any emails from the forum to you. We have not received any email or explanation for this action, and, after we discoverd this, our requests for clarifications for this action have so far been ignored.

However, this means you cannot receive any email from us. Please do not email us for help, as all our replies to you are also deleted by Road Runner. You may use the comments box forum instead..

We advice you (Road Runner customers only) to contact their technical support department to make them aware of this problem, and clearly indicate that you are a subscriber to our forum (they may ask you for the URL, which is lowcarber.org), and indicate that all these blocked emails are based on your request/subscription, and that you do want to be able to receive them.

We wish we could help further, but this is entirely in their hands, and hopefully their technical support will be able to sort it out and allow you to receive your emails from our forum.

As of 6 PM tonight, the Road Runner email ban appears to have been lifted from our web site. We have yet to receive any explanation or details on the ban or the lifting thereof, but our emails are no longer being rejected.

All new members from Road Runners have been sent an email with instructions on how to activate their new accounts.
