Default Cooking with wine during induction?

Good morning lo-carbers,

I'm five days into induction, and doing well so far. I'd like to cook a nice dinner for myself over the weekend, and wondered if cooking with wine would be ok (since the alcohol burns off). Does anyone know if this is allowed during induction?

thanks so much!
k.

Yep! The alcohol is burned off but the carbs are not, so don't forget to count them.

Thanks very much Karen, that should open up the options quite a bit. I'm actually having fun trying to plan meals around these restrictions and having them turn out to feel special and gourmet. Many thanks for your answer to this, and for the recipes you've got on the site.
