Default Hold it for the Holidays Challenge- Nov 1 start

Hi! Is anyone up for a Holiday Challenge? The next few months are going to be a real challenge to keep on track so the idea is not to gain weight or inches (in bad spots anyway) over the next 3 months. Post measurements and weight and before pics - if you dare - by Nov 1. Let's start Nov 1 and end Jan 31- that gives us a little time to recover! You can make you're own loss and fitness goals if you would like!

Chest (broadest part)
Ribcage(under boobs, women only)
waist, smallest measurement
waist, at belly button
high hip, 3 inches below belly button
hip/rear- biggest part.
thigh- fullest part
thigh- 4" above knee
calf- widest part
ankle
wrist-across bone
forearm - biggest part
bicep-biggest part

Okay - My MSM after pics will be my befores and there are measurement listed there as well, but I will probably re-measure on Nov 1 just for accuracy's sake.

My extra goal will be to go from 31.6%BF to under 30% as measured by a hydrostatic tank weighing.

Im in on this challenge..course i never stop going...i am completely obsessed with fitness and looking good and as young as possible...nothing is going to get in my way....

will do pics this weekend and will measure on halloween..for accuracy...goal is to lose 3% bodyfat or ten pounds..which ever comes first and shows my sixpack...hey a girl has dreams ya know!

I'll do my measurements over the weekend - pics may be difficult because my camera is broken - but I'll see what I can do. I'll also decide over the weekend what my fitness/weight etc goals will be.

Hi Anny, I just invited you in your journal, but I see you beat me here. Welcome. On measurements just do the best you can and then remember how you did it. Pics are whatever you would like. I find that the dark form fitting shorts work best for me right now in terms of highlighting shape changes. Same with a shirt, form fitting is best. You don't have much left to lose, so changes may not show up so much in street clothes. If you're brave you can always wear a swimsuit! I try to wear about the same thing for the before and afters, too. Just stand up straight and take a frontal, side view and rear view. Welcome, welcome and nice to meet you!

Hi all,

I'd like to add one more measurement. I think narrowest part of calf below the knee may be useful. I think I lost some there in the last 3 months, but can't prove it. The main calf measurement stayed the same. So add it or not as you choose.
