Default Temptation- sometimes, but not much...

Yesterday made a vat of meatballs and had friends over to enjoy. They had bread, pasta and wine, and I had----meatballs! (with fresh romano cheese on top).

I didn't feel deprived, because I tend to feel bloated after eating even low-carb pasta, so I've decided that my body doesn't like it.
I didn't miss the wine, either.

I DID miss eating bread, swiped in my home-made garlic & herb olive oil dip.

I figure when I get closer to gaol, I'll add in some low-carb bread here & there for special meals.
Otherwise, not really hungry.

Going to a big event tonight, and plan to eat just the low carb appies, like scallops wrapped in bacon, and lobster-stuffed mushrooms!

I *might* have a drink, but then again, I might be too busy, since I'm running the show.
I feel I'm finally in control of my eating, despite a very busy personal/work life. I think I can make it...

Oh yes. understand that.

I have learned the hard way, again yesterday, that sauce also isn't my friend. The meatballs are fine. I made a huge crockpot for my family of meatballs and sauce. I was fine till i found myself standing over the pot eating the sauce. There is something about the tomato aspect of it, and it sent me over the edge into binge town again..dang it.

I don't really care about the sauce, unless it's a super-meaty sauce, which means more meat than tomato. THAT makes me drool!

It's funny what triggers people, though, so I hope you get back on track okay.

I don't have a sweet tooth at all, so I am never tempted in that direction.

Congrats on being so determined to reach your goals! I understand missing bread, I miss it too, when I was little I used to eat bread with everything. I also miss pasta, not as much as bread though. I'm trying hard to control my temptations, I've succeeded so far but we'll see what happens next...
