PEGGY......oh ugh, a UTI . i hope you can fight it off before it gets any worse...when i was in my 20's i got one, didn't know what it was, and wound up in the ER from a severe kidney infection; i still have weird antibodies in my blood because of it

Yes, and I think my body perceives the UTI as "stress" and may be why I have gained 1# each day for 3 in a row! Grrrrrrr. But the UTI discomfort is improving, so perhaps I caught this one in time.

Good morning Ladies!

I am doing okay. Just not much in the mood for posting lately.
Working overtime the last 4 weeks has taken some of my free time also.

Let's see, since I last posted, I have been off two weeks, 1 for vacation and 1 for my birthday. I was 184 before vacation, then after a week of being back on was 188.0, then birthday week off, and after being back on a week was 193.0. Back on all last week and this morning 189.5. I have been all over the place. I am proud that I have gotten back on each time, although I have to admit is was not easy.

Chrissie hope that scale moves for you today. I stopped weighing daily, it was stressing me out. LOL

Peggy, hope the UTI is better.

Be back when I can.
Rox

UTI seems to have gone away with water and the AlkaSeltzer. Whew! Dodged a bullet there.

My back is acting up again, so the pain meds and ibuprofen do a number on my BP and weight losing efforts. I weighed 185 this morning, so I'm retaining fluids again from the meds. Feels like the disc is actually bulging this time and am hobbling around like grandma. No pain on the left side though, where they cauterized the nerves; major pain on the right side for the third day in a row now. That's the side they haven't done yet. So I have confidence in the procedure and after the right side is done on Nov. 10th, I should be good for a year. Hope so at least.

Cool good morning ladies.....

i had a 2+ lb drop on saturday morning, and nothing ever since

ROX.....welcome back!
i hear you about the "not in the mood to post" thing; sometimes it takes all my effort just to turn the computer on, let alone having conversation (so to speak). i also hear you about weighing every day.....i truly hate it, but it is a requirement of another group i belong to on another site, so i either grin & bear it or quit the team.....lately i am considering the latter, but i love the people in that group & would miss them, so i trudge on.
it is NEVER easy getting back on, is it ....but you seem to be doing really well, so keep up the good work

PEGGY......glad the uti has subsided
sorry you are in so much pain on your right side ....i'll bet you can't wait until november 10th!!

HAVE A GREAT DAY GIRLS

Still at 185 today. But at least "holding". I'm thinking about doing a 2 week ULC stint before my next CN to see if that shakes things up a bit.

I agree, some of the excitement of the initial big losses has waned and posting daily is not as exciting as it was. I've been at 182-184 forever it seems. So I may start posting less often. I'm still weighing daily though. I helps me see immediately the "error of my ways".

Congrats, Chrissie. Well, I can't figure it out. I dropped to 181.8 overnight. from 185! Whoosh! Go figure. Wonder what that's all about? So I'll sit back and see what happens by Saturday and decide if I'm going to to 2-week stints or not.

Cool good morning....

i'm stable this morning......well, my weight is anyway

PEGGY.....thank you
being so close to the 170's, maybe the ULC would be a really good thing for you to do; mentally the 7 instead of the 8 should boost a world of confidence!!
i can't wait to see a 5 instead of a 6

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

And then right back to 184 today. Man, I can't seem to win. I think you're right, Chrissie. I don't think I will do CN on Saturday after all.

We moved CN to Friday because of a very late appt. at the vet's with my dog. Had a very small gain. So I'll see how I feel when Saturday rolls around. May skip it if not losing; may go on and do it if losing OK through then.
