Default Net carbs for Macadamia Nuts?

I bought a medium-size jar of Macadamia nuts which say that each serving has 3 g carbs and 2 g fiber, with a net carb total of 1 g. There are 7 servings in the jar, so does that mean the entire jar is 7 net carbs?

On Atkins website, he has two tablespoons of Macadamia nuts as around .9 g of net carbs, which seems to support the 7 net carbs amount. But from what the posters on here have been saying, some people think the net carbs for Macadamias are much higher. Who is right?

By the way, I have been eating a whole jar on the weekends and have lost weight consistently, but I still would like the exact net carb amount.

Thanks in advance!

Afcgirl, try plugging the numbers into the hidden carb inspector tool (under "Low Carb Tools" atop every page in orange highlight) - enter is as fiber subtracted and see if the calories add up. This is the best way to check on lables and 'actual' carb counts.

You can also do the math yourself:

1g of carbs = 4 calories
1g of protein= 4 calories
1g of fat = 9 calories

Add up all the grams x calories and it should equal the same amount as on your label.
