Question Mayo Clinic Diet?

I have a close friend who is impressed with my weight loss on Atkins but wants to do the Mayo Clinic Diet. All I can find on it is negative... but I know that for many folks all they find is 'negative' on Atkins.

Is there anyone who could correspond with me about this diet as my friend is asking for help... but I'm clueless.

Thanks,

Karla

The main thing to know about the "mayo clinic diet" is that the Mayo Clinic DENIES having anything to do with it. It did not originate there nor do they endorse or reccommend it. So be warned before you try it.

It's also known as the "12 Day Diet". Remember also that low carbing is not a "diet". It 's change in the way you eat for the rest of your life.
