Default Hi Yippe

Hi Yipee,
I'm in the Hat too! Nutters has a pretty good selection. The low carb tortilla chips are a staple for me. Superstore has low carb bagels, bake mixes, etc. Walmart carries the ROSS chocolate bars as well as low carb cookies. I have gotten other stuff in Edmonton as that is where my family is. I have ordered on line as well from Low Carb Food Depot online.

Wow, did you watch that incredible game last night???
I was at Brewsters downtown with some co-workers and what a place to watch. Drank a ton of water and stayed away from the alchol as it was doing funky stuff with my blood sugar.

Can't wait for the next round to start.

So, anyone going to the Saddledome to watch the away games? It looks Like I might be taking a friend's daughter to the one tomorrow so maybe I'll see you around. I'll check in around noon tomorrow.

The only time I get to go is when I score free tickets from work and it's unlikely anyone will be handing out tickets at work for any of these games....

I'm still here. Starting a walking clinic at the Running Room in Kensington tomorrow morning. I hear their clinics are really good so I'm quite excited.

Wasn't that an incredible storm last night. We sat in the back bedroom watching it come in from the north and then watched it move off to the south east. That's how my weight lose feels to me some times. Right on track and then it moves off onto another track completely. How is everyone doing with their challanges?

Hey Taz hang in there, the last ones seem to be the hardest to lose but they are the worth the effort.

Taz, I haven't lost anymore in the last two months but am working very hard to not put any back on. From rereading the book, this is quite normal as old habits creep back into our lives. Remember all the things that made you feel good about eating this way and hang onto them.

Don't get discouraged! Whatever you do! Have you tried any of the fasts that you can do to help kick start the diet? The meat fast i really easy and you only do it for three days and all it is is that you eat meat. You can have a few eggs and mayo, mustard, oil, butter, salt, pepper and meat. It's really easy to get through if you buy some pepperoni and deli and even Top Dogs dipped in mustard for lunch! Always worth a try if you're stuck.

I haven't posted here very much....I am new to low carbing but I do have a question. Does anyone know where in Calgary I could find almond flour? I tried to make some at home before and I think it would be easier to buy some. If I can't find any...I will just try and make my own again bu I would prefer to buy some. I called around at one point and I couldn't find any stores that sold it.

Thanks,

Marie
