Practice plan thru June 30.

Alternate Day Fasting - Monday, Wednesday and Friday (ADF M-W-F). Exception would be if I get sick, then I'll reconsider this idea. I'm aiming for hitting 3 days a week but, as this is practice, I don't expect to be perfect at first, or ever for that matter.

Tracking below. First line is days of week, lines below them are hits and misses for the days that week. I'll note if it was 24 or 36hr fast.

1. On plan only. Did ok today. Kind of a rough day but stayed on plan.
1a. Limit alcohol 1 glass or equivalent (two half glasses) a week.

2. Exercise 5 days a week at least 20 min - I am putting this back in. I want to and will need to start this up. Not doing it right now because I am in a cleaning/rearranging frenzy trying to get the house ready for my sister.

3. 5 days a week - Clean something.!!! Have never been a good housekeeper, I have time for creating better habits

Day 35 of my "It's time to lose some weight" Challenge

This busy weekend I had two of my daughters home to celebrate my 57th. The eating was not as tight as my weekday regimen has been, but it wasn't bad. More veggies from meals my daughters prepared put me over 20 net carbs, though not by much. 3 meals a day resulted in more food consumed. I kept it within reason and did not eat after dinner. I've also done well staying away from my "problem" foods. The weekend was not a step back. That's good enough.

Days at or under 20 carbs: 28
Days with good portion control: 31
Days avoiding my "Problem" LC foods: 31

Day one, June 8
Starting over. My requirements were too tight, given that we are living as guests, and yesterday I was unable to hold to my everyday OMAD or no-mad. So new commitment:
1. Two days OMAD and more if possible
2. Two days no meal
3. Other days careful, if possible OMAD
4. Meditation
5. Minimum 1/2 hr intensive exercise, 1/2 hr yoga r stretching, plus walking

Day 1

Eat only foods that are on my plan. Try try again.....

Looks like I can go SWIMMING today....that was one of my goals.....I haven't gone swimming in a long time, probably been at least 2 or 3 years, maybe longer. Thank you to the NEW robotic pool sweep thingy, plus my brother working on the pool.

Got through the day according to plan and commitments, and then got up in the middle of the night and ate muesli and nuts. Sheesh. Starting again.

Day 37 of my "It's time to lose some weight" Challenge

Tuesday was perfect. 20 net carbs, under 2K calories and only a little hungry when I went to bed. Slept well last night.

Days at or under 20 carbs: 30
Days with good portion control: 33
Days avoiding my "Problem" LC foods: 33

Mama Sebo -- Keep at it. String a few good days together then things will get easier. Just remind yourself that the first few days are the toughest. You've got to get through them eating clean to start to break away from those old bad habits & cravings. You know you can do it!

Got too late last night, this is for yesterday and today.

1. On plan only.
1a. Limit alcohol 1 glass or equivalent (two half glasses) a week. Nothing today. Really not interested in it now- that will probably change when sister gets here

DK and Mama S: what Ken said. You go girl!(s)
Thud: love the pics! I live vicariously on the water thru you!

36hr fast will break today sometime. We've had a guy with a pretty nice camera with big lenses taking some shots of us out there. Usually I'm the one taking the pictures. Here's a good one of me.

Practice, Practice, Practice - There is no failure, only learning. That's why we're here I thinks that anyway.
