Ooh, yeah, that would make me a bulimian. That's okay, because I like that lifestyle better, they get to eat whatever they want as long as they barf afterwards. Although, I could stick to LC and still eat pretty much anything in sight and just not barf after. Does that make me a semibulimian?

I believe Purge-itory is just down the hall through the door to the right.

Although I have never been excarroted before, I kinda wonder what it feels like?

Y'all are sick, sick, sick. But then this all started saying you have a disease, right?

You'll never be able to stop everyone in the world from expressing their ignorance and asshatedness at every opportunity. The only thing you can really control is how you react. I've taken to not only saying "Atkins" but to specifically say I'm on a low-carb, high-fat diet. The inevitable shocked response is, "Really?" To which I can come back with "Yeah, and I've lost 47 pounds without any exercise and my doctor says I'm healthier than ever"

"But isn't all that fat bad for you?"

"No, it's actually really good for you. You should read "Good Calories Bad Calories" ..." at which I go off enough that they want to drop the subject as quickly as possible. No one wants to talk to a zealot, especially a well-informed zealot, and I use this to my advantage.

I tell people that I am on a high protein diet, and they see me eating veggies with it and just assume it's okay. As long as they don't think it's Atkins, it's not such a big deal. Lame, huh?

Plane; I've only had one person really, truly interested in how I've found success thus far; after 5 minutes, less I'm sure, her eyes started crossing and I'm sure she was mentally scanning that days to-do list.

I coulda ended by saying that I eat worms everynight before bed and termites every morning but only the white termites the black ones are disgusting....she woulda still uhummed me.

Their brains just shut down....

So if they're really interested and not just being polite...I recommend the books.

I almost joined the balimian faith once. After much careful consideration [5ish minutes] I realized I couldn't handle wasting all that perfectly good food!

Then I considered anorexia...

I just couldn't handle wasting all that good food.

I was seriously screwed!

UGGG you mean I have to DIET?

Thank God for Atkinianity.

On a side note, anyone remember "Breathairians"? An offshot of Fruitairians who fasted as much as possible. I was a fruitairian with sprouts for a while, and did fasting and such (don't ask) but I just couldn't smoke enough pot to believe in Breathairianism, although I tried.
