getting my drops on wednesday! very excited to start. i've been reading through the first, very long thread (on page 92 now) and learning a lot! my biggest concern is i'm a carnivore, mainly because i don't like fruit or veggies. is this going to work if i only eat meat? do i eat 500 calories in meat, making sure it's low fat? will that be too much protein? i want to do this right but can't imagine choking down fruit or veggies. i do like pickles and lettuce but not sure how much that will help.

I think so. It worked for PilotGal. I went very lax with the rules last time. Didn't eat most of the fruit, ate more meat, but kept calories around 500, and it worked just fine. I just stuck to the leanest ground beef and S/B chicken breasts.

pending TOM is really slowing things down, I am retaining water because my fingers are puffy. Down 1 lb. As long as the scale keeps going down, I wont complain

Will more than likely be up tomorrow....big cookout today with lots of grilled meat...so I ate lots of grilled meat. Hamburger not so bad but then I dug into a hot dog and smoked sausage stuffed with cheese. So with all the additives and crap in the sausage and the hot dog I am already having poofy toes and fingers...damn grilled meat!!! LOL How can you say no to grilled meat?!?!?!?!??!!!!

I drank waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much diet coke and got given a couple of these energy booster metabolism booster type pills to try out yesterday when I did my night shift and I was really dragging..

So.. I was too wired to eat my dinner and didn't get to sleep until around 8am, and napped til about 1pm. Woke up to a 3.3lb drop.

lol

I'm assuming it's dehydration and I will bounce back up tomorrow, but for today I'll take it!

Hoping to get a very good nights sleep tonight as I tomorrow I'll work one job from 10am - 4:30pm then my other job from 6:30pm - 2am. Ouchies..

I should probably go and pack tomorrows lunch and dinner while I think about it!

way to go gem and abbey!! I am down another lb. I am officially in the teens!!! havent been here in ages!!! Pulled some shorts out of storage yesterday that I havent seen in ages!! Some were to big, some fit just right and some were still a bit too snug!! But I got about 9 pairs of jean shorts that fit and they are not out of style. Good thing things cycle back around evey few decades!! lol.... but there are only sooo many ways you can do jean shorts right??

It's great when you can pull clothes out of storage and create a whole new wardrobe isn't it?

I've spent the last week or so sorting out my wardrobe, and I'm in to a lot of size 16/18 clothes which is unusual for me at this weight! Usually I'd have to be around 10kilos or 20lbs lighter..

I managed to keep my loss from the weekend (-5lbs total) but not lose any more this morning. I'm happy with that anyway seeing as it's almost my biggest loss for a whole week in 2 days!

yes abbey it is awesome!! I am into 16's also. In fact some are even too lose. But I know 14's will be waaayyyy to tight for me. I absolutely loathe tight clothes. Its all about comfort for me, I would rather my clothes be tooo big then too tight. Soo I wont even think about 14's yet. However, I hope to be in them soon enough. I'm just glad I can almost shop in the regular side of the store now!

Oh try them on!!! I just knew I wouldnt be getting into a 14 and I did!! They fit so nicely =) I have noticed this week my 16 that just bought a few weeks ago are now baggy...grrrrrr Its good, but damn I wont be wearing them much longer because I can already pull them up and down without having to unbotton them...LOL

You ladies are doing fabulous!! Thanks so much for the motivation. I am working on my mental faculties to get ready for my next round.

Unfortunately I have regained all but a few pounds that I lost on my first round due to wanting to stuff myself with peanut butter. I haven't had any now in several weeks so I hope I'm over it but now I am just using other food. ???

I am hoping better luck after the next round.

Ya'll rock!! Wishing you continued success!!!!
