Hey,

I want to join you all. It's been a while since I've been on this site and I want to get motivated with you.

My name is Melissa and I've been on Atkins for about 3 years now. I started at 265 and am now 171. My goal weight is 135 and this year I'm gonna do it!! I know it.

Anyway, back on induction today, feeling good too!

Thank you all for letting me join,

I'm in, but I'm not getting on the scale until I'm pretty sure it will show some loss -- I'm discouraged enough as it is!

Me, me, me! I'm joining. And I'll give anyone who can come kick my sorry butt into any kind of shape $20!

I restarted induction today. No weigh-ins for me for a while (it would just depress me and throw me off track). But I'll track my performance by how I eat each day.

Big cheers to everyone!

I'm doing induction for a long while. I'll allow myself a cheat after 20 more pounds are gone. I lost another pound today, which is amazing since we had so much salt yesterday. I'm assuming I would have seen more of a loss if it weren't for the salt. I feel so awesome!!!!! I'm wearing clothes that I haven't been able to squeeze into for over a year, and those were my "on the way down" clothes. I'm so excited. By Valentines day, I should need to go shopping again.. We'll see!!!! I'm totally pumped to lose!

Everyone who is new, WELCOME!!! Just get pumped to feel great!

Arrow Day 1 Starting Weights

These are the starting weights I have for everyone so far. If you haven't posted yours yet please do and I'll update the list as the night goes on. I know a lot of you are depressed with your numbers right now. I encourage you to weigh yourself even if you don't want to...that way you'll be able to track how far DOWN you're going! We are all unhappy with where we are or we would not BE here! Nobody is here to judge you, only encourage you on your journey!!

Unfortunately, I have to change my start weight from the number you've listed. I weighed today and it was NOT pretty -- 184!!!! I've been having uh, potty troubles plus not drinking enough water, ate LC bread and other treats that I don't usually, etc. etc. So, I'm hoping that goes down really quickly

Ok, it's the 3rd and I wieghed in at 221 this morning.

So far today I've had:
4 poached eggs
6 tblsp of heavy cream for my coffee
5 oz of a variaty of cheeses
3 oz of a beef stick
1 oz of cashews
1 oz of almonds
Tonight it's a 14 oz steak.

That leaves me at 21 grams of carbs, a good day I think, a little high on the salt level but I'm ok with it.

later,

I'd love to join

After about 3 months of being on no diet whatsoever all my clothes are tight! So, back to a diet for me.

I decided this morning to go on induction tomorrow, but I guess I could start right now. Of course, the first half of the day is shot (toast and chocolate) but dinner should be ok.

I weigh about 143 right now.

My main goal right now is to make it through induction. We'll see about exercise if and when this happens. Baby steps and all..
