Back in my med training days, in the midst of the Vitamin C mega-dose craze, I remember seeing ascorbic acid crystals in people's urine...along with plenty of red blood cells. Use care and common sense, folks. Pete

Guys, I am sure nobody minds if we sometimes go a lil' bit further than we should. We all know typed keyboard words do not convey the emotion and meaning of what people are thinking. The good thing is that we know what we did, right? Right.

We are all here for a common reason, so some stuff will be understood without question. And, there will be things that are going to require a bit more than icons and html winks, ok? Carry on.

Question Question of the Day

Guys, what is your motivation of choice, for you gym, or regular work-out routine?
My favorite is cranking up the best hose and Techno dance mixes.

DTHEASH1 and ALL:

The phenomenon of waking up to find we've suddenly lost several inches is for the most part unexplainable. It simply happens. The most common theory is that the body tends to hold water in place of fat it loses in order to sustain itself, to maintain homeostasis, to stop us from starving. Bottom line is that our bodies really don't like change, so it takes every measure to fight against our efforts at weight loss. But, with perseverance we win, and our efforts are rewarded.....with a " Whoosh"....

The preceeding paragraph was taken from a webpage on some website that I did not record,

Hope this helps answer the question!
Best to all;
Jake

I just had to go get a digital scale. LOL My 37 year old eyes are not so good these days. It's a bit of positve feedback to see the numbers go down, by fractional numbers. I also caved, and got the Keto Stix.

P. S. Guys, it really is OK to post in this thread.

Default Michelob ultra

I really enjoy drinking a few beers in the summer months. This Michelob ultra is very good......I think only 2 carbs. Hey when you really don't want to mess up a good thing...it's a lot better than the regular stuff.

With the 4th coming up and all the talk of beer, I did a little research. Here it is:

Beer Calories/Carbs

Amstel Light - 100 calories/8 grams of carbohyrdates
Bud Light - 110/6.6
Corona Light - 105/5.0
Edison Light - 109/6.5
I.C. Light - 96/2.9
Keystone Light - 100/5.0
Michelob Light - 134/11.7
Michelob Ultra - 95/2.6
Miller Lite - 96/3.2
Sam Adams Light - 124/9.7
Coors Light - 102/5.0

and a pleasant surprise for my fellow Irishmen out there:

Guinness Stout - 120/5.2
