I am on day 9 ..... I have not had any real cravings.. but today I was SALIVATING for something sweet (like donuts or cinnamon rolls).... I had just about talked myself into it since I have not lost any weight in 5 days... I lost 6.5 in 4 days... and nothing since.

But I did not cave.

I've stopped eating dinner. Instead, I have a scoop of psyllium fiber powder dissolved in to about a pint of water. Gross, but filling.

I did NOT eat the breaded chicken fingers with BBQ sauce, the mini spring rolls with plum sauce, the pan fried gyoza (sp?) OR the sushi that was served at a meeting I attended. Instead, I ate leftover spareribs (no sauce) that I had cooked on Saturday. It was strange, because I can usually get through these situations without cravings. Today, it was a bit of a struggle. The smell of those evil chicken tenders got to me! But I feel really good about the fact that I resisted temptation!

I did not eat any of the birthday cake batter or frosting that I made for my son's birthday. Then I did not eat the ice-cream, chips, or pizza that we served the horde of boys. I also resisted the butterscotch "blondies" that DH made for the party, even though I cut them up and I was really salivating when I did it.

WOW it was hard. Thank goodness no more parties and celebrations until DD's birthday in April.

DH brought the remnants of the party sweets to work today.

I didnt eat gooey cinnamon rolls I made for kids this morning. I also didnt eat homemade mac and cheese tonight.

But I AM drinking a sinfully delicious cup of decaff coffee w/ s.f. Kahlua syrup and cream!
