doing great doing great!!!! hurray! It has been a long time in coming. joining curves has been the greatest thing for me. I have noticed that if I miss a few workouts with curves I tend to try and make up for it at home by doing some free weights. I have only had two workouts so far this month at curves but I had the flu last week. I have worked out with weights about 4-5 times. I would not have done that before! I just need that accountability!!!!

Sept weigh in after one month of curves (working out about 3 times a wk) I LOST 6.25 INCHES and gained one lb. I am so excited! (2 of that was from my waist)

I can tell that it has continued as my pants are getting more lose!
Fri: Arm free weights
Sat: Curves 30min

Wednesday did Curves workout dd came along and learned the machines.
Saturday Curves workout with dd (had competition and am very sore) heehee We had such fun!!!
Sunday am just doing stretches and low impact exercise (walking on treadmill for about 15 min) as I am sore. (used home weight machine lower body only)

Today's workout is planned...treadmill, arm workout and maybe curves. It is so nice outside I may even walk outside. Jeans are fitting more loosely. That is GREAT since a month ago they were tight!!!!!!

I need to update my picture.

I am seriously considering doing a form of BFL this week. There is an official challange in April but that is right before my trip to FL. I think that I would like to try this now. I am past the date to officially start but I really need to learn more about the exercises. I have always loved weight lifting to some degree.
The website shows form and everything. It looks great. I have the weights and bench I just need the discipline and no how.

I sure will not hurt to try it!

Karen, funny that you should say this. I went halfassed jogging with my son on Thrusday. It was the farthest I have ever been able to run in years and I was not sore. As a matter of fact, my creeky knees feel better now than they did a week ago. I thought that I was getting arthritic knees a while ago. They are feeling much better without using any supplements.
