The firm is awesome!!! I lost all 65 lbs with using the firm 3 days a week with my 1st pregnancy-that's all you need- It's very challenging and you get into shape fast. The only drawback is you really have to use good form or you can hurt your knees and back. Good for beginners and advanced exercisers. Modify to what you need.
Good Luck!!! Find something that you can stick with or different things that you can alternate.

I've done Tae Bo for4-5 years now and I do love it but got a bit fed up with all the new gadgets they kept inventing.

I recently started doing an old Nell McAndrew tape (20p on VHS from my local second hand shop!) 'Peak Energy'. It's basically a lot of running ont he spot with arm movements but I find it quite hard work and have certainly noticed a difference in my body after about 2 weeks.

I'd usually be skeptical of celebrity workout tapes because there are so many but this one has been working so well.

MY two favorites:

For the ABS: 8Min abs, just type on youtube and you'll get stainless steel abs!!!!
For buns and shape legs: 8min Buns. garanteed to burn your buns.

It's a little more hard than the pillate thing or the 'lazy fitness' ( fitness without sweat lol..) i've seen

I've used the Firm dvds inthe past and really enjoyed them. You get your cardio and weight training in one workout. I also have used the Jari Love DVDs for weight lifting. They are hard but are really fun and fast paced once you work your way up. Start with her first DVD-- it is the easiest. Good luck!

Karen Voight or Tamilee Webb are great for sculpting videos- good for almost any intermediate exerciser though a beginner can modify and work up. If you like dance step cardio, Rob Glick or Christy Taylor have great DVD's (not for beginners - intermediate to advanced and very choreographed!) If you like more athletic style workouts (less choreographed, less dancy videos) then go for Gin Miller. Cathe Freidrich has several good "hard training" sculpting videos (kind of hard core stuff) but also has a moderate low impact step video that's fun and easy that I like to use on lighter days.

All can be found at Collage Videos.
